If you love to fish, Lockport Manitoba provides the opportunity to catch the legendary Channel Catfish. These monster fish average 15 to 20 lbs and 28 ” and you have a good chance at landing a Master Angler 34” plus trophy Cat. Everything is included but the Fishing license.

For more than a decade, Cats on the Red has been offering a full assortment of action packed fishing charters on the famous Red River for world-class channel catfish. Highly skilled guides, who take pride in what they know and do, lend their expertise in putting you into the action. Since Lockport is only a 30-minute drive north of Winnipeg this provides a perfect opportunity for a half-day or full day fishing experience.

Eagle Nest Lodge - 4 nights - 3 days

Your Canadian backwoods vacation begins by boat from Eagle Nest Landing in Point du Bois. A 27 mile trip to the Lodge reveals a vast panorama of islands, channels, bays and unforgettable scenery, enlivened by moose, deer, black bear and bald eagles. Arrive at Eagle Nest for deluxe 4 star accommodation, helpful friendly staff and a licensed dining room. Cabins are equipped with decorative wood stoves, fridges and propane heat. Accommodations include separate bedrooms, double and single beds, two bathrooms and satellite TV. You are welcome to use the clubroom for meetings, recreation or fitness routine. Reveal in the enjoyment of not wasting an instant to land your trophy pike, walleye or small mouth bass right outside your doorstep.

Aikens Lake Wilderness Lodge - 3, 5, &7 days
Stars shine brighter at Aikens Lake, southern Manitoba's No. 1 fly-in trophy lodge! Great Master Angler opportunities await you with walleye to 15 lb., northern pike to 33 lb., lake trout to 40 lb., and whitefish up to 8 lb. The resort also features a magnificent soft sand beach with absolutely no rocks or weed growth. It is just perfect for swimming or sun bathing. Master Angler's Row features four adjacent fully modern and newly renovated units, with thermostat controlled heat, electricity, private washroom with shower. These units have 2 sets of built-in bunk beds with drawers underneath, accommodating up to 4 people each. A table with four chairs is set up in front of a picture window with a gorgeous view of the lake.

Located 525 miles north of Winnipeg, this 5 star lodge accommodates guests in deluxe private cabins each with two suites. Fully carpeted, with 2 queen size beds and modern bathrooms, the suites are electrically heated for cool mornings. Golden Eagle Fly-in Lodge & Outposts - 3, 5 & 7 days
Golden Eagle Lodge on Sickle Lake is a remote fly-in fishing and hunting lodge approximately a 30 minute floatplane ride from the town of Lynn Lake. Here you can have all the solitude you want as there are no other lodges on the lake. They also have five other lakes nearby, accessible by foot, on which they have boat and motor caches. Sickle Lake's fishing credits include many trophy Northern Pike and an abundance of Walleye and Whitefish. Black Trout Lake, a ten minute walk from the main lodge, has excellent Trout fishing along with Northern Pike and Walleye. New in 98 are the outpost camps for those who prefer a lake all to themselves.
