I am booked onto a Vigil but can’t make it. What do I do?

If it is before 5pm the night of the tour, please contact Heartland Travel at (204) 989-9630 or shannonc@heartlandtravel.ca or if it’s the night of the tour and after 5pm, contact Muddy Water Tours at (204) 989-4678 and the appropriate adjustments will be made to the tour list for the night. I don’t want to sign a waiver form for the Vigil.

We ask that all participants please sign a waiver form prior to participating. This is for your own comfort and safety of the evening. If you do not sign a waiver form, you will be asked to leave. No refund will be given if this happens.

I am a senior or student, is there a discount off the price?

Unfortunately, no, there are no discounts given. We have one price for the Vigils.

I really feel that my child/teenager/friend can handle the Vigils even though they are less than 18 years old. Can I book them?

No. We ask that all participating guests be 18 years of age or older due to the nature of the evening and topics discussed.

I think it would be cool to try and contact my deceased relative, can I do that on these Vigils?

We are working within the confines of the building, its history and those who may have passed through its doors before us. Please do not attend in the hopes you will contact your deceased relatives, this is not the reason for our being here. Mediums will not be granting personal readings. Under no circumstances will we attempt to connect with deceased relatives of guests. Please seek out a professional reputable medium for your own personal reading.

You can always contact Heartland Travel at (204) 989-9630 or email shannonc@heartlandtravel.ca and we will be able to tell you the available spots on the Vigil.

I am organizing a group of people but do not want to pay for everyone all at once. What do I do?

Please collect payment from your group prior to booking, then contact Heartland Travel to book and pay all at once. This is the easiest thing to do. Remember, we cannot hold seats without payment.

What kind of equipment can I bring with me to remember the tour by?

Feel free to bring a camera, video recording devise, recorders, etc. with you. Note - Filming is only allowed during the experiments.
