Manitoba Homecoming Attraction Pass-FAQ’s

1 - Why does my pass say December 31, 2010?

The online ticketing site needed to have a designated event date. In order to take full advantage of the 2010 year, this was the date we chose to use since the passes are valid for a one time use for the entire 2010 season.

2 - Why are there only adult passes and none for children, youth, or seniors?

We were not able to offer rural youth/child/senior passes. This is due to the inconsistent child/youth/senior ages for the various attractions, events, golf courses, making it less expensive to purchase child/youth/senior admissions individually as some of them are free while others have a nominal charge.

3 - What if I forget to use a portion of my pass? Do I get a refund for any unused portions of my pass?

Unfortunately, no. If you have missed an event or discount, or admission included in your pass, it is 100% non-refundable. We strongly urge you to be aware of the individual attraction, event, or golf course hours of operation so you can take full advantage of your attraction pass. Manitoba Homecoming 2010 and Heartland International Travel & Tours assume no responsibility if the pass or portions of the pass go unused or if you have missed event dates or discounts.

4 - When is the Homecoming pass valid for?

The 2010 Manitoba Homecoming Rural attraction passes are valid for a one-time use for the entire 2010 season. You can purchase the pass and use it once at anytime throughout the year, but be careful! We strongly urge you to be aware of the individual attraction, event, or golf course season/hours of operation so you can take full advantage of your attraction pass. Please contact the individual attractions/events/golf courses for their season and hours of operation.

5 - Can I give my pass to other people to use if I don’t want to visit any more attractions, events, or golf courses?

Sure! If you only want to use a portion of the pass and can’t use the rest of it, you can give it to someone else to use the remainder of it. If you were doing this, please email Heartland Travel so we can contact the individual attractions/events/golf courses to notify them for their records and to avoid any confusion when the pass is being used.

6 - I purchased my pass online but did not immediately receive my PDF pass?

In the event of an online purchase made before 9am and after 5pm during Mon-Fri, or on a weekend, your PDF document will be emailed to you the following business day.

7 - Can I buy an attraction pass in person, over the phone or at the individual attraction/event/golf course?

Unfortunately, no. The only way to obtain a Manitoba Homecoming Rural Attraction pass is to purchase them online. The online system is completely secure and safe to use.

8 - I have received two online booking confirmations and a PDF file, which one is my pass?

When you make your purchase for your pass online, you should receive two email confirmations. One is a receipt from the online purchase, and the other is a confirmation from your online purchase. These two emails are not your attraction pass. If you do not get two confirmations from your online purchase, please email Heartland Travel as soon as you can to confirm your transaction has been approved. A separate email will be sent to you directly from Heartland Travel with a PDF document attached. THIS PDF DOCUMENT IS YOUR ATTRACTION PASS. The PDF will have the name of the pass, the attractions/events/golf course information in it, your name, invoice number, and confirmation number on it along with a bar code. Please print the PDF document off and take it with you to the attraction/event/golf course to use. The individual attractions/events/golf courses will initial and confirm the pass, date it, and hand it back to you to keep and continue to use until it is all used up. We strongly urge you to check your junk/spam folders in your email just in case the confirmations end up there.

9 - I don’t like putting my personal information online.

The Touchless Ticket booking system is completely safe and secure to use. Please use your correct contact information (name and phone number) in case Heartland Travel has to contact you for any reason. Your contact and personal information is kept strictly confidential and your personal information is not handed out to anyone or used for any other reason.
