Riding Mountain National Park

Fort Dauphin Museum ![]()
This museum is suggestive of an 18th century fur trade post surrounded by a wooden palisade. Take a walk through history and see the blacksmith shop, school, church, and pioneer homes as well as western Canada's first Archaeological Laboratory with more than 80,000 artifacts.

Trembowla Cross of Freedom Historic Site ![]()
Visit the roadside historic site and see the commemorative plaques, monuments, and a collection of historic buildings that pays tribute to the new life of early Ukrainian settlers who struggled for in seeking land and political freedom. It is the site of the first Ukrainian Catholic mass in Canada in 1897 and St. Michael's, the first Ukrainian Catholic Church in Canada. Museum buildings open by calling.

Wasyl Negrych Pioneer Homestead ![]()
One of the most impressive folk sites in North America, contains the oldest known Carpathian-style (Ukrainian) house and the most complete set of period farmyard buildings in Manitoba. This is also a Provincial Heritage Site.
