Flashlight Vigil at Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site of Canada!

New for the 2010 season, we have been invited by Parks Canada to investigate Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site for the privilege of experiencing their paranormal phenomenon ourselves! For a select few who dare to venture into this site in the dark, we hope to contact some of the astral beings that make this old fort their home.

We will explore three buildings over three hours, learning about the history of the site as well as some of the individuals who can go bump in the night.

Dowsing and table tipping will be attempted as a means of communicating as well as the use of equipment and tools of the trade, i.e. pendulums, EMF, and digital recording devices.

Come and rediscover a different kind od Fort, one seen through the eyes of a spirit!

Time: 8:00pm-11:00pm-Doors open at 7:30pm for check in and close sharply at 8:00pm-we strongly urge you to arrive early

Cost: $46.00 + 5% GST / (adults 18 years of age or older please)-Spots must be booked in advance!

The Vigil Includes:

• Entrance into Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site of Canada
• Escorted tour throughout
• Spirit medium sessions
• Free parking

Environment: Experience is 3 hours inside a museum in the dark. Please wear appropriate clothing, some outside time. No alcohol or drugs prior to the start of the Vigil

Important things to consider for this Flashlight Vigil:

• You are required to get to/from Lower Fort Garry on your own
• Spots are non-refundable/non-transferable
• Adults 18 years of age or older are allowed
• Cameras are allowed
• Doors open at the Visitor Reception Centre at 7:30pm for check in and close sharply at 8:00pm as the main reception centre will close and there will be no one there to check you in
• Please bring a flashlight with you; it’s very handy to have when walking throughout the grounds, in the dark                                           
• If bringing a bottle or water/juice with you, please make sure it is in a sealed container (with lid) for easy transporting
• Accessibility-As long as you are comfortable with walking throughout the grounds of the fort and have no trouble climbing a few stairs, then this Vigil should be fine
• Limited amount of space is allowed on the Vigil; please book early to avoid a sell-out
• Good walking shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing is strongly recommended; the vigil goes rain or shine
• A signed waiver form is required by everyone participating; this will be sent out at the time of booking
• If you are sensitive to flashing lights, please be aware of camera flashes
