Islander aircraft - The plane lands on a sand and gravel strip right in front of the lodge. This flight from Gillam to Nanuk is very exciting as it provides an amazing view of northern Manitoba with the boreal forest , tundra, historic York Factory, Hudson Bay coastal plain and the incredible Nelson River.
