Kristen Verin-Treusch was a student at the University of Winnipeg. While finishing her B.A. Honours, she was looking to tell tales of Winnipeg's unique and fascinating history. Bringing together her love of history and creative storytelling, Muddy Water Tours was formed.

Making history and mystery interesting and entertaining has not been a difficult task considering the events and characters that have left their mark on Winnipeg's development. As information was gathered and weird tales surfaced, the idea of the Haunted Winnipeg Ghost Tours were formed. Partnering with Heartland Travel, Kristen has developed the Haunted Winnipeg Tour Series unlike anything Winnipeg has ever experienced! She invites you to come along on the tours and vigils and see Haunted Winnipeg for yourself!
